Michael Flomen

Michael Flomen is a self-taught Canadian artist born in Montreal in 1952. His large-scale prints and photographs have been exhibited throughout the world since the early 1970s. However, Michael Flomen is largely known for his unusual series of photograms or cameraless photographs created with the use of water, snow, sand, wind, firefly light, and other natural phenomena. These amazing works are now in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the National Gallery of Canada, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and other prominent museums worldwide. Besides, Michael Flomen’s photograms are also exhibited at many fine art galleries, including at Denny Dimin Gallery in NYC.
