Art on Paper Returns to Downtown Manhattan This Spring

March in New York is going to be very busy. Many of the most influential art fairs will return with their new editions, bringing to the Big Apple the best in modern and contemporary art. The Armory Show, VOLTA New York, Clio Art Fair, Independent Art Fair, Architectural Digest Design Show, and Affordable Art Fair NYC are just some of the events not to be missed in New York next month. There is one more very special art fair that we love to attend — Art on Paper. At Fine Art Shippers, we are very proud to receive a VIP invitation to this amazing event that is, without a doubt, one of the best international shows dedicated to paper-based art.

Art on Paper 2020

The 6th edition of Art on Paper returns to Downtown Manhattan this spring. The anticipated show will take place at Pier 36 on March 5–8, bringing to New York top modern and contemporary paper-based art that will be presented by nearly a hundred galleries. The major exhibition will be complemented by a collection of site-specific installations by Lyndi Sales, Edgar Heap of Birds, Maser, and other talented artists from around the world, expanding the understanding of what a work on paper can be.

The list of exhibitors participating in the show includes many renowned galleries. We would particularly like to draw your attention to Nancy Hoffman Gallery (Booth B09) that will present artworks by Asya Reznikov, Nicole Phungrasamee Fein, Jody Uttal, Joseph Raffael, and Don Eddy; Clark Gallery (Booth F03) featuring works by Linda Etcoff; and Gary Lichtenstein Editions (Booth B16) representing Danielle Frankenthal. The booths of Tamarind Institute, Vietnamese Contemporary Fine Art, and Emmanuelle G. Contemporary Art are also worth visiting.

Overall, the upcoming event is going to be a great one, so take your time to visit it on March 5–8 and enjoy gorgeous works on paper by some of the best modern and contemporary artists.
